Ch. Chelsea Gold Mist
"Tiara"
Margates Wanderlust (pointed
son of Ch Arrowhill Oklahoma Tornado) ex Chelsea Evening Elf

Tiara
1973-1985
Our first champion finished in
1976 with majors under Alex Gibbs, Lois Hillman, Joan Graber &
Trudy Mangels. In her first litter by Ch. Jude of Arrowhill she
produced our 2nd champion, Ch. Chelsea Moon Pebble

Ch. Chelsea Moon Pebble
at 10 weeks
"Marty"
1975-1988
Ch. Jude of Arrowhill ex Ch.
Chelsea Gold Mist

"Marty"
Began her show career at the California
Collie Fanciers in 1976 where she won the large Futurity under
judge Ben Butler, in one of his last judging assignments. She
won 9 points from the 6-9 class and came back out the next year
to finish. Majors were won under Ralph Morrison, Ed Sellman and
Mary Hutchinson. She produced a champion daughter in her litter
by Ch. Attention of Arrowhill.

Ch. Amberhill Bouquet
of Chelsea
"Flower"
1982-1995
Ch. Attention of Arrowhill ex
Ch. Chelsea Moon Pebble
Co-owned with the Junior handler,
Jill Bassler, who showed her to most of her wins. Her majors were
won under Bobbee Roos and Jim Fredericksen.
And Flower's son:

Ch. Amberhill's Chips
of Gold
"Benji"
1984-1996
Chelsea Silver Reflections ex
Ch. Amberhill Bouquet of Chelsea
Bred & owned by Chelsea &
Jill Bassler. Handled to his wins, which included Specialty majors,
by junior handler, Jill Bassler. Benji was a sable merle, but
you would never have known it by looking at him
- Ch. Chelsea Ice Castles
- "Bertha"
- 1979-1991
Ch. Advantage of Arrowhill ex
Chelsea Summer Breeze
Bertha's first win was a major
from the 6-9 puppy class (just barely 6 months old!), owner handled.
She won 3 majors by the time she was 10 months old. She came back
out at 15 months and finished with a big 5 point specialty BOS
win under Janet Leek. She is the dam and granddam of champions.
An upbeat showdog who loved the ring. Came back out at the age
of 11 for a rare entry in the veteran's class. She won BOS at
a huge specialty! She is in the pedigree, multiple times, of our
current winners.
- Ch. Chelsea Of Arrowhill
- "Trick"
- Ch. Advantage of Arrowhill
ex Chelsea Summer Breeze
Bred here, but owned by Arrowhill
Kennels (since we did not at that time keep males). Finished with
numerous Sweeps wins and multiple specialty majors. An older brother
to Ice Castles. He is in the pedigree of all our current dogs.
- Ch. Chelsea Midnight
Breeze
- "Breeze"
- Ch. Arrowhill Oklahoma Tribute
ex Marnus Chelsea Morning
Owned by Karen Smith (bred here
and co-owned with us). Finished with back-to-back Specialty majors
under Bobbee Roos and Bettie Crawford. Unfortunately I have no
decent pictures of him.
- Ch. Chelsea Shadowgold
- "Heather"
- 1980-1986
Ch. Advantage of Arrowhill ex
Chelsea Moonshadow
Probably our biggest winner to
date. She was that rare combination of a "true" showdog
combined with genuine quality! She finished at 15 months, in 11
shows with (2) five point majors, several major reserves and Sweeps
wins, all owner-handled from the Bred-By class. She went BOB at
the CCA-NorCal Tournament, the only time ever specialed. In addition
to being gorgeous, this bitch absolutely excelled in Collie attitude
and temperament. To this day, she is our ideal of how a Collie
should look and act! Her life was shortened thanks to a very rare
and fatal form of Leukemia (Myelongenous). She is behind all of
our current winners.
- Ch. Chelsea Castles
In The Sky
- "Brigitte"
- 1985-1992
Chelsea Cavalier ex Ch. Chelsea
Ice Castles
Won multiple Sweeps as a puppy.
Finished with majors under Bonnie Young and Alane Gomez. Multiple
specialty major reserves! She is the grand dam of two of champions,
Ch. Chelsea The Crown Prince and Ch. Squire's Chelsea Protocol
and the great grand dam of our current winners.
- Ch. Chelsea Luck
of The Draw, CGC
- "Thomas"
- 1986 ~ 1998
Ch. Twin Oaks Joker's Wild, ROM
ex Ch. Chelsea Ice Castles
Finished with specialty majors.
A complete and total gentleman! Collie temperament doesn't come
any better than this! He was given to a really good friend (Penny
Bassler of Amberhill Collies) as an 8 week old show puppy. When
she was killed in a car accident in 1988, we got him back when
he was a 1½ years old. He settled in, like he never left!
He is the great grandsire of our current champion male, Ch. Chelsea
The Crown Prince and the grandsire of Ch. Squire's Chelsea Protocol.
He is behind all our current champions.
Ch. Squire's Chelsea Protocol
Ch. Bandit of Foremost ex Chelsea Celebrity (both majors)
1994-2006
